Santa Monica

A beautiful coastal community with it's own school district SMUSD and it's own police and fire department Santa Monica is one of the most highly desirable neighborhoods in all of Los Angeles. From beautiful palm tree- lined Palisades Park overlooking the Pacific, to San Vicente, lined with Coral Trees down the median, Santa Monica has many parks and green space, beaches, and is an unparalled idyllic location. On the northen part, Montana Avenue is lined with tony outdoor cafes and shops, and Main Street in the Ocean Park area of Santa Monica has a more eclectic vibe with restaurants, shops and bars as well. There is one local high school, Santa Monica High School, and various highly rated elementary schools and middle schools (go to schools page) depending on where you live. It's one of the highest cost per sq ft areas of all of Los Angeles, and has some of the most beautiful homes encompassing many types of architecture. Spanish, mid-century, modern, architectural, Craftsmen and Ranch are just some of the styles of homes you can find in Santa Monica. One of my favorite homes that I have ever sold in Santa Monica was an untouched mid-century at 819 Berkeley Avenue.
